Weight Loss HACKS

So you have an event coming up and you want to drop a couple lbs the HEALTHY way…. Here’s some tips for making that happen THIS weekend!

1. Decide on Thursday that Friday-Sunday = no alcohol!
2. 60-90 mins of steady state long endurance cardio {run, bike ride, power walk, etc – keep heart rate steady and up} Wanna kick it up a notch?? Add 2 days of 15 min HIIT workouts {maximum heart rate! 1 minute followed by 10-30 second recovery}
3. Late start early finish with your food. First meal at 11am last meal by 7pm. Yes that’s an 8 hour window!
4. Extra hour of sleep each day – go to bed an hour earlier or sleep in an hour later. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you twice 😉
5. No restaurants
6. Bring your own food to events/parties. Make healthy choices once you’re there
7. Eat raw veggies {about a cup} before lunch and dinner. Fiber! You’ll consume less calories
8. Find a war buddy! Significant other?? Strong friend? Someone from your accountability group!?? You need someone to join you on this weekend warrior adventure. Wage war against unhealthy habits!
